Entry Procedures

ENTRY DEADLINES:  30 days prior to contest

 

FEES:  $350 per performing group entered.  Make checks payable to:  Region 16 UIL Music

 

HOW TO ENTER:

 

I.                   COMPLETE BY ONLINE ENTRY (at least 30 days prior to contest) the following:

1.      FORM 4:  One Form 4 for each performing group should be prepared via the “Online Entry” system.  Completion of your Form 4 on the Online Entry System constitutes your “Official Entry” for the Contest.  You will be locked out of the system after the deadline and will not be able to enter the contest.

2.      FORM 5:  Form 5’s are generated automatically after completion of your Form 4. 

 

        **The executive secretary will print all Form 4’s and Form 5’s for use at the contest.  Do not mail these to the executive secretary.

 

II.                MAIL OR HAND DELIVER TO EXECUTIVE SECRETARY (at least 30 days pror to contest) the following:

 

1.      INVOICE:  Print and mail the Invoice from the “Review Entries” link.  (This Invoice replaces the previously used Region 16 Entry form).

2.      FEES:  All applicable fees should be mailed with the Invoice.

3.      The Invoice and fees should be postmarked at least 30 days prior to the contest.

 

III.             MAIL OR BRING TO CONTEST the following:

 

1.      FORM 1:  This form is found in the ONLINE system.  Follow instruction as given on the “Prepare UIL Form 1 – Entry Form” page.  After completion, you must either mail or hand-deliver to the executive secretary before your students perform.  This form certifies student eligibility and must be signed by your principal or superintendent.

RECAP:

 

1.      Submit online no later than 30 days prior to contest:  Form 4

2.      Mail or hand-deliver no later than 30 days prior to contest:  Invoice  and Entry Fees.

3.      Mail or hand-deliver prior to performance:  Form 1 (signature required)
