  3. All-Region Auditions
    1. Phase 1 Auditions -Tue. Nov. 11th – Blalack MS - Carrollton (Sherry Simpson, host)
    2. Phase 2 Audition -Sat. Nov. 15th – Forestwood MS - Flower Mound (Debra Haburay, host)
    3. Music Committee – Meeting Thur. June 5th Forestwood 10:00am
    4. Clinician – clinician suggestion forms – received a few suggestions, please email more suggestions to dunham@friscoisd.org
    5. 1 or 2 day clinic – One day clinic (avoids Friday conflicts)
      Region Clinic & Concert – Sat. Dec. 13 (Turner HS and Long MS)
    6. Phase any instrument over 50 - approved
    7. Reduce number of clarinets in the band from 18
      1. 18 clarinets = 90 clarinets in phase 2 (9 hours)
      2. 12 clarinets = 60 clarinets in phase 2 (6 hours)
      3. 15 clarinets = 75 clarinets in phase 2 (7.5 hours) ß Approved

  5. UIL Judge Selection – UIL 2004 is a three day contest as there will be no zones.
    March 30, 31, & April 1    st at Hebron HS; Judges for 2004 have been selected, contacted, and contracted.
  6. New Business

At the suggestion of Liz Grant, David will research and present possible alternatives to the Region Band Award Patch at the Fall Region Meeting. Considered will be awarding specially designed medals for the Region Band students.

There will be NO increase in UIL, TMEA, or Region Fees next year.
