
New entry fee schedule
Effective with the 2007-2008 contest year, entry fees will be:
$275.00 per organization event. State fee and video or CD fee is included.
$7.00 per student solo/ensemble fee.
Also effective with the 2008 solo/ensemble entries. Late student entries
will be accepted provided the school has entered the contest by the deadline date.. There will be a form to be
signed by a school administrator faxed with the late entry information to the effect that the entry is late. The late entry fee will be $15.00 per student.

New Entry Procedure Approved By The Region Executive Committee
Entries for all UIL music contest are due 30 days prior to the first day of a contest. The online entry process does not negate the use of certain hard copy items. The form 1A (tally sheet or summary form) is to be postmarked 30 days prior to the first day of a contest. The entry fee should accompany the form 1A. If for some reason the check has not been cut. then a copy of the PO or some other document attesting that the entry fee check has been requested is to be included with the form 1A. If the check has not been received in my office 21 days prior to the contest, you will be sent a reminder. If the check is not received by 14 days prior to the contest then your principal will be notified. If the check is not received by 7 days prior to the contest then your superintendent will be notified. If not received by the contest date then the director of the organization will be referred to the executive committee for whatever action they choose to impose. Please do not hand deliver entry fee checks the day of contest.
